There isn't any specific mention from what I gather.
However,what you mention is very useful and not far off. There are mentions of the ''void'' and the ''primal void''.
With various shabads, I personally have concluded or understood that this ''void'' which contains nothing, just as before the creation was created.
Infact contains more than everything!

In effect, the ''Nothingness'' that is within everything and surrounding all, is infact ''Everything'' - This 'Everything' does not need be physical matter with the molecules we know, but it is ALL and the ONE, the Ek Onkaar!

Just my personal observation, never read it or heard it!

this is a very interesting subject.

When i think of my own consciousness...i only know that i exist if i have sense perception...i.e. i can see, hear, touch etc.
if someone hits me over the head with a baseball bat...all sense perception is lost...i become unconscious....have no idea i exists.

Therefore for consciosness to exist....there must be something to be conscious of.

so creation and creator must co-exists at all times...even the void (before creation as we know it) must have contained something (whatever that may be) for totality of conssciousness (god) to exist.

she was orphan and never had any guidance. such people have to do much on their own. and now maybe she is dependent on this landlord guy. we are all dependent on so many things in life. breaking away is possible with courage and will. how else can God help?

God helps those who help themselves, show courage and know the truth, no harm can come to you, you may die, you may be hurt, but better to face up to tyranny in any way. A Sikh never gives up, ever.

On a more pragmatic note, Sikhism is about dealing with these situations and protecting the weak. That is the ideal, the real world is very different. By helping I do not mean go in all guns blazing, I mean by offering a support, advice, help.That is Sikhism , do Gods work, follow Hukam, God bless

Plus I can see God helping because she still has the option to turn to God and do a personal ardass, she still can ask for help.

Even then when people don't help themselves God still provides eg air to all....

When people help themselves and still remember God, they realise they aren't doing anything, its all Gods kirpa

ईत ऊत नही बीछुड़ै सो संगी गनीऐ ॥
Īṯ ūṯ nahī bīcẖẖuṛai so sangī ganī▫ai.
He alone is called your companion, who will not be separated from you, here or hereafter.
ਕੇਵਲ ਓਹੀ ਸਾਥੀ ਗਿਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਏਥੇ (ਲੋਕ) ਅਤੇ ਓਥੇ (ਪ੍ਰਲੋਕ) ਵੱਖਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
ਈਤ = ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ। ਊਤ = ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ। ਬੀਛੜੈ = ਵਿਛੁੜਦਾ। ਸੰਗੀ = ਸਾਥੀ। ਗਨੀਐ = ਸਮਝਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਸ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਨੂੰ ਹੀ (ਅਸਲ) ਸਾਥੀ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਜੇਹੜਾ ਸਾਥੋਂ) ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ (ਕਿਤੇ ਭੀ) ਵੱਖਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।

ਬਿਨਸਿ ਜਾਇ ਜੋ ਨਿਮਖ ਮਹਿ ਸੋ ਅਲਪ ਸੁਖੁ ਭਨੀਐ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
बिनसि जाइ जो निमख महि सो अलप सुखु भनीऐ ॥ रहाउ ॥
Binas jā▫e jo nimakẖ mėh so alap sukẖ bẖanī▫ai. Rahā▫o.
That pleasure, which passes away in an instant, is trivial. ||Pause||
ਤੁੱਛ ਕਹੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ, ਜੋ ਇਕ ਛਿਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਲੋਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
ਨਿਮਖ = ਅੱਖ ਝਮਕਣ ਜਿਤਨਾ ਸਮਾ। ਅਲਪ = ਛੋਟਾ, ਥੋੜਾ, ਹੋਛਾ। ਭਨੀਐ = ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥
ਉਸ ਸੁਖ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਛਾ ਸੁਖ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੇਹੜਾ ਅੱਖ ਝਮਕਣ ਦੇ ਸਮੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥

ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲੈ ਅਪਿਆਉ ਦੇਇ ਕਛੁ ਊਨ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥
प्रतिपालै अपिआउ देइ कछु ऊन न होई ॥
Paraṯipālai api▫ā▫o ḏe▫e kacẖẖ ūn na ho▫ī.
He cherishes us, and gives us sustenance; He does not lack anything.
ਰੋਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ-ਪੋਸਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਸ਼ੈ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਅਪਿਆਉ = ਰਸ ਆਦਿਕ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ। ਊਨ = ਕਮੀ, ਥੁੜ।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਭੋਜਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ (ਸਭ ਨੂੰ) ਪਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ) ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਥੁੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ।

ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਸੰਮਾਲਤਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ॥੨॥
सासि सासि समालता मेरा प्रभु सोई ॥२॥
Sās sās sammālṯā merā parabẖ so▫ī. ||2||
With each and every breath, my God takes care of His creatures. ||2||
ਹਰ ਮੁਹਤਿ, ਉਹ ਮੈਂਡਾ ਮਾਲਕ, ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Acẖẖal acẖẖeḏ apār parabẖ ūcẖā jā kā rūp.
God is undeceiveable, impenetrable and infinite; His form is lofty and exalted.
ਨਾਂ-ਛਲਿਆ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਨਾਂ ਵਿਨਿ੍ਹਆ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਅਤੇ ਅਤਿ ਉਚਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ।
ਅਛਲ = ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਅਛੇਦ = ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਨਾਹ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਜਾ ਕਾ ਰੂਪੁ = ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਹਸਤੀ।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਛਲਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਨਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਹਸਤੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਹੈ,

ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਜਨ ਅਚਰਜ ਆਨੂਪੁ ॥੩॥
जपि जपि करहि अनंदु जन अचरज आनूपु ॥३॥
Jap jap karahi anand jan acẖraj ānūp. ||3||
Chanting and meditating on the embodiment of wonder and beauty, His humble servants are in bliss. ||3||
ਅਸਚਰਜਤਾ ਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤੇ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੋਲੇ ਮੌਜਾਂ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਜਪਿ = ਜਪ ਕੇ। ਜਨ = ਸੇਵਕ, ਭਗਤ। ਆਨੂਪੁ = ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ॥੩॥
ਤੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥

ਸਾ ਮਤਿ ਦੇਹੁ ਦਇਆਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜਿਤੁ ਤੁਮਹਿ ਅਰਾਧਾ ॥
सा मति देहु दइआल प्रभ जितु तुमहि अराधा ॥
Sā maṯ ḏeh ḏa▫i▫āl parabẖ jiṯ ṯumėh arāḏẖā.
Bless me with such understanding, O Merciful Lord God, that I might remember You.

चोजी मेरे गोविंदा चोजी मेरे पिआरिआ हरि प्रभु मेरा चोजी जीउ ॥
Cẖojī mere govinḏā cẖojī mere pi▫āri▫ā har parabẖ merā cẖojī jī▫o.
Playful is my Lord of the Universe; playful is my Beloved. My Lord God is wondrous and playful.
ਖਿਲੰਦੜਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ, ਖਿਲੰਦੜਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਹਿਬੂਬ ਖਿਲੰਦੜਾ ਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੁਆਮੀ!
ਚੋਜੀ = ਮੌਜੀ, ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ।
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ! ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ! ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੈਂ।

ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੁ ਉਪਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਗੋਪੀ ਖੋਜੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
हरि आपे कान्हु उपाइदा मेरे गोविदा हरि आपे गोपी खोजी जीउ ॥
Har āpe kānĥ upā▫iḏā mere goviḏā har āpe gopī kẖojī jī▫o.
The Lord Himself created Krishna, O my Lord of the Universe; the Lord Himself is the milkmaids who seek Him.
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਖੁਦ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਰਚਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਂਈ, ਅਤੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਲੱਭਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੁਆਲਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੁ = ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ। ਗੋਪੀ = ਗਵਾਲਣ। ਖੋਜੀ = (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ) ਲੱਭਣ ਵਾਲੀ।
ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ) ਲੱਭਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗਵਾਲਣ ਹੈ।

ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਸਭ ਘਟ ਭੋਗਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਆਪੇ ਰਸੀਆ ਭੋਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
हरि आपे सभ घट भोगदा मेरे गोविंदा आपे रसीआ भोगी जीउ ॥
Har āpe sabẖ gẖat bẖogḏā mere govinḏā āpe rasī▫ā bẖogī jī▫o.
The Lord Himself enjoys every heart, O my Lord of the Universe; He Himself is the Ravisher and the Enjoyer.
ਭਗਵਾਨ ਆਪੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ! ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸੁਆਦ ਮਾਨਣਹਾਰ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਭ ਘਟ = ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰੀਰ। ਰਸੀਆ = ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਸ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਭੋਗੀ = ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਗਣ ਵਾਲਾ।
ਸਭ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਸ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਭੋਗਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।

ਹਰਿ ਸੁਜਾਣੁ ਨ ਭੁਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਆਪੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਜੋਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
हरि सुजाणु न भुलई मेरे गोविंदा आपे सतिगुरु जोगी जीउ ॥१॥
Har sujāṇ na bẖul▫ī mere govinḏā āpe saṯgur jogī jī▫o. ||1||
The Lord is All-knowing - He cannot be fooled, O my Lord of the Universe. He is the True Guru, the Yogi. ||1||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਚੂਕ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੱਚਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ!
ਸੁਜਾਣੁ = ਬਹੁਤ ਸਿਆਣਾ। ਜੋਗੀ = ਭੋਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਰਕਤ ॥੧॥
(ਪਰ) ਹਰੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਹੈ, (ਸਭ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਗਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਭੀ ਉਹ) ਭੁੱਲਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਭੋਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

ਆਪੇ ਜਗਤੁ ਉਪਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਖੇਲੈ ਬਹੁ ਰੰਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
आपे जगतु उपाइदा मेरे गोविदा हरि आपि खेलै बहु रंगी जीउ ॥
Āpe jagaṯ upā▫iḏā mere goviḏā har āp kẖelai baho rangī jī▫o.
He Himself created the world, O my Lord of the Universe; the Lord Himself plays in so many ways!
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਖੁਦ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਅਨੇਕਾ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਬਹੁ ਰੰਗੀ = ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ।
ਹਰਿ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ (ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਖੇਲ) ਖੇਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਕਨਾ ਭੋਗ ਭੋਗਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਇਕਿ ਨਗਨ ਫਿਰਹਿ ਨੰਗ ਨੰਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
इकना भोग भोगाइदा मेरे गोविंदा इकि नगन फिरहि नंग नंगी जीउ ॥
Iknā bẖog bẖogā▫iḏā mere govinḏā ik nagan firėh nang nangī jī▫o.
Some enjoy enjoyments, O my Lord of the Universe, while others wander around naked, the poorest of the poor.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨਿਆਮਤਾ ਭੁੰਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਨੰਗਾ ਦੇ ਨੰਗ ਹੋ ਨੰਗ-ਧੜਗੇ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਕਿ = (ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਇਕ' ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ)। ਫਿਰਹਿ = ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਭੋਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਜਵੇਂ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ) ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੀਵ ਐਸੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਨੰਗੇ ਪਏ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਨ ਉਤੇ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ)।

ਆਪੇ ਜਗਤੁ ਉਪਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਵੈ ਸਭ ਮੰਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
आपे जगतु उपाइदा मेरे गोविदा हरि दानु देवै सभ मंगी जीउ ॥
Āpe jagaṯ upā▫iḏā mere goviḏā har ḏān ḏevai sabẖ mangī jī▫o.
He Himself created the world, O my Lord of the Universe; the Lord gives His gifts to all who beg for them.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਆਪ ਜਹਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਖਸ਼ਸ਼ਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਯਾਚਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਭ ਮੰਗੀ = ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਮੰਗਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਮੰਗਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਭਗਤਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਆਧਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਮੰਗਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਚੰਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
भगता नामु आधारु है मेरे गोविंदा हरि कथा मंगहि हरि चंगी जीउ ॥२॥
Bẖagṯā nām āḏẖār hai mere govinḏā har kathā mangėh har cẖangī jī▫o. ||2||
His devotees have the Support of the Naam, O my Lord of the Universe; they beg for the sublime sermon of the Lord. ||2||
ਸੰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਉਹ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਸੁਹਣੀ ਧਰਮ ਵਾਰਤਾ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਯਾਚਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਆਧਾਰੁ = ਆਸਰਾ। ਮੰਗਹਿ = ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਹੀ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥

ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਾ ਲੋਚ ਮਨਿ ਪੂਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
हरि आपे भगति कराइदा मेरे गोविंदा हरि भगता लोच मनि पूरी जीउ ॥
Har āpe bẖagaṯ karā▫iḏā mere govinḏā har bẖagṯā locẖ man pūrī jī▫o.
The Lord Himself inspires His devotees to worship Him, O my Lord of the Universe; the Lord fulfills the desires of the minds of His devotees.
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਆਪ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਿੱਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਾਹਨਾ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਲੋਚ = ਤਾਂਘ। ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ।
ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ) ਆਪਣੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੀ) ਤਾਂਘ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਆਪੇ ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਨਹੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
आपे जलि थलि वरतदा मेरे गोविदा रवि रहिआ नही दूरी जीउ ॥
Āpe jal thal varaṯḏā mere goviḏā rav rahi▫ā nahī ḏūrī jī▫o.
He Himself is permeating and pervading the waters and the lands, O my Lord of the Universe; He is All-pervading - He is not far away.
ਸੁਆਮੀ ਖੁਦ ਪਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਮਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਉਹ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਰੇਡੇ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਜਲਿ = ਜਲ ਵਿਚ। ਥਲਿ = ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ। ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ = ਰਮਿ ਰਹਿਆ, ਵਿਆਪਕ।
ਜਲ ਵਿਚ, ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ, (ਸਭ ਥਾਂ) ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, (ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ (ਕਿਸੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਹਰੀ) ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
हरि अंतरि बाहरि आपि है मेरे गोविदा हरि आपि रहिआ भरपूरी जीउ ॥
Har anṯar bāhar āp hai mere goviḏā har āp rahi▫ā bẖarpūrī jī▫o.
The Lord Himself is within the self, and outside as well, O my Lord of the Universe; the Lord Himself is fully pervading everywhere.
ਅੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰਵਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੀਪੂਰਨ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ।

ਹਰਿ ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਪਸਾਰਿਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਆਪਿ ਹਦੂਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
हरि आतम रामु पसारिआ मेरे गोविंदा हरि वेखै आपि हदूरी जीउ ॥३॥
Har āṯam rām pasāri▫ā mere govinḏā har vekẖai āp haḏūrī jī▫o. ||3||
The Lord, the Supreme Soul, is diffused everywhere, O my Lord of the Universe. The Lord Himself beholds all; His Immanent Presence is pervading everywhere. ||3||
ਆਪਣੀ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਰੂਹ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਫੈਲਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਹਰੀ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਲਾਗਿਊ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ = ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਆਤਮਾ। ਹਦੂਰੀ = ਹਾਜ਼ਰ-ਨਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ॥੩॥
ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਰਾਮ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਜਗਤ-ਖਿਲਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਲਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥

ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਵਾਜਾ ਪਉਣੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਵਜਾਏ ਤਿਉ ਵਾਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥
हरि अंतरि वाजा पउणु है मेरे गोविंदा हरि आपि वजाए तिउ वाजै जीउ ॥
Har anṯar vājā pa▫uṇ hai mere govinḏā har āp vajā▫e ṯi▫o vājai jī▫o.
O Lord, the music of the praanic wind is deep within, O my Lord of the Universe; as the Lord Himself plays this music, so does it vibrate and resound.
ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਜੀਵਾ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਵਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਦ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਖੁਦ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਲਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਵੇ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਗੁੰਜਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਉਣੁ = ਹਵਾ, ਪ੍ਰਾਣ। ਵਾਜੇ = (ਜੀਵ) ਵੱਜਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ-ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵਾਜਾ (ਵੱਜ ਰਿਹਾ) ਹੈ (ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ, ਮਾਨੋ, ਵਾਜਾ ਹੈ) ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ-ਵਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਵਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ-ਵਾਜਾ ਵੱਜਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਗਾਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥
हरि अंतरि नामु निधानु है मेरे गोविंदा गुर सबदी हरि प्रभु गाजै जीउ ॥
Har anṯar nām niḏẖān hai mere govinḏā gur sabḏī har parabẖ gājai jī▫o.
O Lord, the treasure of the Naam is deep within, O my Lord of the Universe; through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, the Lord God is revealed.
ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜਾਨਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਨਿਧਾਨੁ = ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ। ਗਾਜੈ = ਪਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭਗਤ = (ਨੋਟ: ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਭਗਤਿ' ਅਤੇ 'ਭਗਤ' ਦਾ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣ-ਯੋਗ ਹੈ)।
ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਪਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਆਪੇ ਸਰਣਿ ਪਵਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾ ਰਾਖੁ ਲਾਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥
आपे सरणि पवाइदा मेरे गोविंदा हरि भगत जना राखु लाजै जीउ ॥
Āpe saraṇ pavā▫iḏā mere govinḏā har bẖagaṯ janā rākẖ lājai jī▫o.
He Himself leads us to enter His Sanctuary, O my Lord of the Universe; the Lord preserves the honor of His devotees.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਹੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਰਦਾਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਰਾਗੀ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਇੱਜਤ ਰਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰਾਖੁ = ਰਾਖਾ। ਰਾਖੁ ਲਾਜੈ = ਲਾਜ ਦਾ ਰਾਖਾ।
ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਅਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਦਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ)।
ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਮਿਲੁ ਸੰਗਤੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਧਿ ਕਾਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੪॥੩੦॥੬੮॥
वडभागी मिलु संगती मेरे गोविंदा जन नानक नाम सिधि काजै जीउ ॥४॥४॥३०॥६८॥
vadbẖāgī mil sangṯī mere govinḏā jan Nānak nām siḏẖ kājai jī▫o. ||4||4||30||68||
By great good fortune, one joins the Sangat, the Holy Congregation, O my Lord of the Universe; O servant Nanak, through the Naam, one's affairs are resolved. ||4||4||30||68||
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਮਹਾਨ ਚੰਗੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਤਿਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਜੁੜਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਹੇ ਗੋਲੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਰਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਨਾਮਿ = ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ। ਸਿਧਿ = ਸਿੱਧੀ, ਸਫਲਤਾ। ਸਿਧਿ ਕਾਜੈ = ਕਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਧੀ, ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ॥੪॥
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਤੂੰ ਭੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ (ਹਰਿ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ, ਤੇ) ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਣ। ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਮਨੋਰਥ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੪॥੩੦॥੬੮॥
