This thread I am going to love because you put so many words into context that I can understand. It would be good if members would take just one word and build on it. Let me try to do that...follow my own advice.

ਸੱਚੀ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੱਚੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਰੈ = ਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ (ਲੱਗ ਕੇ)। ਪਲੈ ਪਾਇ = ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ।

ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ) ਸਦਾ-ਟਿਕੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਲੱਗਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਡਰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥

So what I see is that ਗੁਰਮਤਿ/gurmaṯ translates into through teachings of the Guru a learning about the creator.
