I suffer from long term memory loss.
Considering my past, they all tell me it's a good thing!!!

I'll be better off avoiding the above, so If any are applicable, I'll start by counting down and eliminating 5 a time.

I think brain food is lacking in most Sikh families. There is a myth that long as the food fills your stomach then thats OK. I force my family to eat nuts, fruits, vegetables and take vitamins. Don't get me wrong we allot of healthy stuff (pulses, onions, ginger, garlic, chillies, tumeric etc etc), however we destroy the nutrients in the cooking process.

For all those living in the West I don't think they should have a excuse to not eat properly.

There is a big link between physical fitness and mental capability.

I find almonds, walnuts, pistachios, cashewnuts, pumpkin seeds and sunflowerseeds of great benefit. I grind them into powder and add some fillers like oats and cooling items like dried chrysanthemum flowers. I use it as a brain boosting tonic and have been doing it for almost a year now. It's amazing how a little mixture like this can increase my levels of tolerance, patience, focus and attention.

If you don't add fillers you can't grind them into powder because of the high oil content especially in the walnuts and sunflower seeds. I even gave some of this powder to my neighbor for their kids and amazingly they don't scream on the top of their voice as often.

Astroboy ji your mixture recipe appears loaded with calories. Are you sure you are not inadvertently putting neighborhood kids to sleep while they should be out shouting, fighting, laughing, playing mundahug

My preference is daily 10-20 raw almonds. I give couple to our doggy or he kicks my behind ready to bite lol
