Waheguru's Creation In Other Worlds

Jan 31, 2006
waheguru ji ka khalsa wahegur ji ki fateh
as a Child I remember being told that sikhism is among the few religions that accepts the existence of life in other worlds, or simply put aliens. I was wondering if anyone has any information on this and more speciaifically passages from gurugranth sahib. I've been lately reading up on string theory and m-theory and how scientists are coming to understand the existence of parallel universes and I've been trying to find what gurbani has to say about this.

Ŧithai lo▫a lo▫a ākār.
There are worlds upon worlds of His Creation.

Sagal bẖāṯ kar karahi upā▫i▫o.
The Creator has created the creation of all sorts

Nānak racẖnā parabẖ racẖī baho biḏẖ anik parkār. ||1||
O Nanak, God created the creation, with its many ways and various species.

Ka▫ī kot kẖāṇī ar kẖand.
Many millions are the fields of creation and the galaxies.

Hardkaur ji

Check out the news on Sikhnet -- They have a great article or aliens on this planet. Scientists are getting very interested in new life or maybe newly discovered life-forms that are developing in aversive environments. If I get a chance I will post it here.

Shabad Vichaar by SPN'ers

Sikhs, on cue from our clergy in the form of ragis and parcharaks, have translated Kaam as sex and lust. They further translate Kaaman as woman. Kaaman, after all is one who is “absorbed and...
