I was discussing the utility of vedic sacrifices in a forum. Somebody argues... "The sacrifices, now, do not always work the way they are supposed to because today there is no one who can pronounce the mantras properly. During Vedic ages they knew and so the sacrifices always yielded fruit. If we knew it we too could get results. But we have lost the knowledge so it is a hit and miss affair." This is absolutely unverifiable. It is outrageous argument. How to reply ?
