Jī▫a janṯ ke ṯẖākurā āpe varṯanhār. Nānak eko pasri▫ā ḏūjā kah ḏaristār. ||1||
Master of the living and life, by self so interacting everywhere. Nanak, only one so present, where has second been seen!

Asatpaḏī.
Eight stanzas hymn

Jī▫a janṯar sabẖ ṯā kai hāth. Ḏīn ḏa▫i▫āl anāth ko nāth.
Living and life all in hands of so. Blissful to the meek, custodian of the forlorn.

Jis rākẖai ṯis ko▫e na mārai. So mū▫ā jis manhu bisārai.
One so protected, such none can destroy. Such is like dead, who is so forgotten in the mind.

Ŧis ṯaj avar kahā ko jā▫e. Sabẖ sir ek niranjan rā▫e.
Leaving so where can one go. Such one unencumbered king is protection over all heads.

Jī▫a kī jugaṯ jā kai sabẖ hāth. Anṯar bāhar jānhu sāth.
The knowledge of living is in hands of such. Recognize such close inside and out.

Gun niḏẖān be▫anṯ apār. Nānak ḏās saḏā balihār. ||2||
Treasure of virtues, infinite and without limits. Nanak humble servant, forever in respectful service.
ESSENCE: In the salok, Guru ji recognize the one and only creator, master of all life and interacting with all.

Guru Arjan Dev ji in Astpadi 22, 2nd sabad describe that all life and knowledge thereof is with the creator. All are looked after from the forlorn to the meek. Without the creator there is no place and let us recognize the creator to be besides and inside.

Guru ji conclude how infinite the virtues in the creator and how he finds self to be in respectful service of such creator.
Please note all errors are mine and I stand corrected.

Sat Sri Akal.
