We see another upheaval created by one more personality based Neo –Sikh
Sect, disguised as the only Sikhi way. Sacha Sauda- ‘The Real Deal’.

I read on the following site that the concept of this sect has gone unnoticed since its inception in 1948:

• Why has the Sikh Clergy been sleeping for that long?
• Why do the Sikh honchos take another hornets’ nest as a bee hive till it is too late and the hornets start stinging?
• Why is it easy for these Snake oil salesmen to sell their concoction wrapped in the Sikhi gift wrap?

• Why do we let sects like Nirankaris, Naamdharis, Radasoamis, Eckists etc. etc flourish as the 10-headed Ravans till it’s too late to cut their heads, all in the name of Sikhi?
• Why don’t we flash our 3ft Kirpans in public in protest for the female infanticide rather than tossing Sikhs’ turbans in public?

• Why don’t we show our outrage when the Christian missionaries convert our Gurudwaras into Churches?
• Where are the Guru kei Sikhs when a woman is dosed with kerosene oil and burnt alive because her parents could not afford the dowry?
• Where are our Jathedaars when cultivating Sikhi values in the Sikh populi has become the CPR for its own survival?
• Why do we build Gurudwaras as while elephants rather than Khalsa Schools and Old people’s homes in India and abroad?
• Why do we need golden domes on our Gurudwaras when many sleep hungry, with no clothes on their backs, uneducated and desolate dreading for the dawn while we take a ritualistic dip in the sarovar to ’cleanse’ ourselves in the crack of the dawn?

THe fight between Akal Takhat and Dera is financial and vote bank. Lot of money is flowing to Deras and Akali leaders want it to come to them. No one on this earth can copy my Guru. Guru Gobind Singh was a unique Mard sent to this earth. Can any Baba copy him just by wearing clothes like Guru Gobind Singh? He was the greatest patriot born in this earth. He was prefect - a great saint, a great warrior, a great poet. I have yet to see in the history any person with all the qualities combined in one. Let us not worry about these people (Deras) and try to solve problems facing our sikh society.
Today Akal Takhat is not able to do any work for upliftment of Sikh society. Let them concentrate on how to save Sikh society. Our youth are cutting hair. In Punjab, you will hardly see young sikhs with full hair. Let Akal Takhat do something about female infanticide, increasing use of intoxicants by youth. Our children are trying to copy Western culture. Who is there to teach them our value system. Let more hospitals, colleges, schools, old age homes be constructed by cash rich Akal Takhat.
There must be some reason why peaople are going to these Deras which our society as whole is not able to provide? We should try to find what attracts public to them. The root cause should be found out.
