Marriage

i belong to a sikh family n want to marry a boy whose father is hindu n mother is sikh, they both are professors of punjabi at well renowed university. From his childhood he only went to gurudwaras and believe in guru granth sahib ji n he speaks in only punjabi language. Is it ok to maary him with proper sikh rituals, ananad karaj? plz sugst according to gurbani.

Hi,

It would certainly depend on your values and what you think? How does your family feel about this? How does his family feel about this? Get both the families involved. There is nothing wrong with your union if that is the assurance you need. Rest leave it to baba ji, he knows best.

One of Guru Nanaks great teachings was that there is no hindu, and no Muslim. Ie no religion, no separation, Only One.

Religious separation is an illusion, maya- seen only in ego.

Sikhism is not a religion. Sikh means student. We are students of the eternal truth
