Define said identity.

The Identity is like a great Banyan tree, with many roots and branches, growing into the air as well as into the earth, accommodating a great variety of creatures and reducible to no pattern or conclusion.

Explicate difference between Indian and Hindu.
I dont see the framing of this question correct .What is this word Indian?? It looks meaningless

define Hinduism and Sikhism.
One can find words like Sikh, Sikhi but nothing about Sikhism( as a religion ) within the pages ADI GRANTH .

Any definition by any scholar on Sikh religion, is incomplete without mentioning the definition given by Bhai Kahn Singh Ji Nabha.

" Maaney naahin ved bhed simrat puran ke,
Pujat na Bhairon bhoot girja ganidun hain.
Tith, waar, shakun, mahurt na jaane kachu,
Rahu, ketu,shani, shukra,chandramaa danidun hain.
Jaat, paat, mantra, jantra, tantra, vrat, shradh, hoam,
Sandhya, sutak aad ko viswaasu nahin bindu hain.
Dasmesh ko saput KHALSA hai bhinn panth,
Mahaa hai agiyani Jou yaako kahey - Hindu hai.

[We do not accept the authority of. The Vedas, neither that of Simritis and Puranas. We worship neither Bhairva, nor Ganesha. We recognize neither Tithis nor Omens, nor days. Neither Rahu, Ketu, Shani, Shukar, Sun nor Moon. We do not believe a bit in Sandhya, Sutak, Caste, Varna, Jantar, Mantar, Fasting, Homa or Shradh. Disciples of the Tenth Master, Khalsa Panth is distinct. Really ignorant is he who calls Khalsa as Hindu.]
I am confident that the Sikhs are the only Indian people who have maintained their country’s ancient culture and its dress and code of conduct intact.
You have to ask other people what country they belong to but as soon as you see a Sikh, you immediately and automatically come to know that he is an Indian any where in the world.
The base of Sikh religion is not from Vedas. The concept of 'Vedas truthfulness' and supremacy is not accepted in Sikh religion.
The Sikhs neither eat the ex-creata (dung) of cows, drink it's urine nor clean their houses by the dung of cows to purify. Sikhs are also not ready to perform any Gomedh Yagna, they also do not call the visitors as 'Goghn.'
In 1898, when S. Kahan Singh ji of Nabha wrote the book,"HAM HINDU NAHIN" to answer the Hindu miscreants, he refers Sir Lepel Griffin,"The Sikhs had abandoned the Hindu faith, and with it the system of law which is the basis of that faith and which was inseperable from it. For a hundred and fifty years they had been governed, as far as chiefships were concerned, by another code altogether, and it was as reasonable for them to refer to Manu and the Shastra as the source of legal authority, as it would have been for Muhammadans, who had embraced Sikhism to appeal to the Shara.
(The Rajas of the Punjab P.338)
SIKHISM is the only religion, which gives liberty to its followers to worship the Almighty, Omnipresent WAHEGURU any time any where. Ladies also enjoy full liberty as they are free to recite Gurbaani from Guru Granth Saahib ji, even during their mansturation periods. Their Ladyship is highly regarded as they give birth to Peers, Paigambers, Deities and Lords. How could she be achoot or down trodden. HATH KAAR--MUKH DAATAR. Recite his name while you earn, sleep or traveling. You are at your liberty.

Kahn Singh Nabha only objective was to prove Sikhs separate identity from Hindus .

But then he also writes, "don't ever criticize any other Dharam and don't receive a curse from your native-land by not recognizing your native brothers as your own limb"

Where did I disrespect any religion? I tried to express and quoted reference of this book to enlighten readers on SPN. A truthful authenticated definition of Sikh religion is presented here. I have other sources too that Sikhs aren't Hindus.
But my question is to A seeker why he thinks that we Sikhs cursed others? I joined this thread to counter him only as his posts were very offensive and dis-respective too. Why does he has no respect for Guru Nank and if so, what was his goal to make posts here at this platform?

Many on here have vehemently declared Sikhi is not a religion...

The generally accepted definition of a religion is:

“A set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the Creation of a superhuman (or beyond human) agency or agencies (Creator/s), usually involving devotional and/or ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.”

If you believe Sikhi does not fall into this definition at all (and remember the definition is all encompassing so while any one particular religion might not fit all of the parameters of the definition, however the definition should be broad enough to encompass all religions) ... if you believe Sikhi falls entirely outside of this, then please explain why you believe so.
Who defines what a region is? On what definition created by man defines what definition is? Sikhi is a way of life. The word of God that unites humanity including all religions, religions that can bee seen as a language to connect to the one creator.

If by religion, you mean there is a God sitting above us and dictating how we should live our lives (which is how majority see religion) then it's not a religion. Religion, in today's term, devalues the depth Sikhi has to offer to the individual and collective. It is better to not put Sikhi into that category and limit what it has to offer

Sat Sri Akaal,

Religion Relics of Region,

Sikh Seeker Philosophy is

Universal

Immortal

The 1st prunciple

Initiation
ੴ Ek O ie ONE

Absolute ie NON Dual TRUTH invisible expression ie in WORD FORM
Operaating in all lives
Without Fear and Enmity
ਅਕਾਲ beyond bondage of time
ਮੂਰਤਿ invisible and in form
ਅਜੂਨੀ neither die nor boen
ਸੈਭੰ self existing, im divisible
Method or Way or Skill or Way
Is blessing for all seekers.

So Immortal Seeker Philosophy is Non Dual, Immortal absolute TRUTH operating in all forms, without bondage of time space and forms.

This is root principle.

So learn How mind learns, before Mind Learns.

How to get and realise absolute TRUTH with way of Seeking from any of spiritual text of world, without intervention of pandits, maulvis, bhais etc ie surface readers and intellectuals. Which get falsely expressed and ritualises by surface readers of Metaphors, which can not be understood by translated meanings, and can be realised by getting the essence of words.

The Spiritual Masters have expressed the TRUTH in form of Metaphors in many ways, but the surface translators professed ignorance bu reflecting there own mind set, as if ONE receives ONE TRUTH than only it professes.

The absolute TRUTH os expressed in Metaphors by Millions of Tongues, but all ways lead to ONE absolute TRUTH..

So where the TRUTH elopes, ignorance of way of seeking, who makes it elope, surface readers and intellactual translators

TRUTH is the absolute TRUTH has never changed version or there are upgrades.

Guru Nanak initiated Seeker Philosophy for all seekers, the way to Seek Without intervention of Surface readers or Translators.

How to get the immortal essence by self realisation and experiential learning.
