I will upload the story and then it may be easier for minhas ji or someone else to provide the summary. I wish Rozanna Spokesman would have an English edition, or even an English digest, and have asked numerous time. We in the diaspora are missing a lot because of this.

Basically it deals with the Newly Minted amendments rushed through by the Badal Administration in the Punjab Assembly..to Act 255-A. The amendments deal with so called "hurting the religious entiments..."
Which according to the Spokesman and several others is akin to the Blasphemy Laws.
Now a sauda Saadh ram rahim or just about anyone can claim...that "so and so hurt his RELIGIOUS SENTIMENTS"...blah blah blah..by writing such and such an article.
The Amendments are in actual fact an affront to freedom of the Press, Freedom of Speech. Now any one saying/writing anything against a "Dehdharee Guur" would be deemd to be hurting the religious sentiments of the sauda saadhs followers, followers of nirankaris, beas, noormehlia ashutosh etc etc etc. Even mentioning Vienna may hurt the religious sentiments of the ravidassiahs. Such open ended "laws" dont sync with DEMOCRACIT Socities...becasue then NO ONE can open hsi mouth or use his pen against any anomalies or excesses....Sikh Religious entiments will be hurt if the sgpc is questioned on misuse of goluck funds..the jathedar is questioned on ?? so on..
Currently the Editor Spokesman is undergoing one such case registered under these Laws....he stays in Chandigarh..the Case is in Amritsar....
