Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!
Dear all!

I observe Sikh preachers wearing a special dress on stages. How many dress codes Sikhs have? Should Sikhs follow the dress code of Guru Nanak Ji or Guru Gobind Singh Ji?

Dear Balbir Singh Ji

Interesting question !

Well I appreciate what you are pointing at , I have seen that peopel on stage where they try to preach about Sikhi have always kind of dress diffrent from others .

I never thought that it meant anything special may it is part of tradition related to their work

Also I am not aware of any dress code that was given by Guru Nanak dev ji and either Guru Gobind Singh ji. May be you are refering to Five Kakaars given by Dasam Guru .

Would like to read what others think about It

I don't think that what clothes one wears, be it a kurta pajama or jeans and a T-shirt, affect one's ability to be and act virtuously.
