On behalf of Sikh Bulletin. See the attached document to read the current issue in English and Punjabi.

Dear readers of The Sikh Bulletin:

We wish to draw your attention to the fact that this issue of The Sikh Bulletin is also worth saving. It has the entire book on research on Dasam Granth Sources by S. Dalbir Singh, M. Sc. of New Delhi. It was a very painstaking and long process. The author deserves the gratitude of the Sikh Nation. All we need to do is to read it, comprehend the enormity and significance of his findings and undertake positive steps to thwart the attempt of the enemy within and without to lead us away from the teachings of the Gurus enshrined in Guru Granth Sahib.

We should not be swayed by pleadings or commands of so called panthic leaders to accept that from Dasam Granth which has become Panthic Maryada by their inclusion in khande-di-pahul. That should not have been allowed in the first place. What a Sikh has to remember always is that nobody broke centuries old maryada as decisively and boldly as Guru Nanak, our Guru, our teacher, who set the example for us.

Another major article is by Dr. Gurmel Singh Sidhu of Fresno State University Fresno. He attributes the introduction of Dasam Granth to the British, which could very well be true and they would be the ones to incorporate three banis from Dasam Granth into Nitnem and khande-di-pahul to give an excuse to people like Gurcharanjit Singh Lamba to attack those who do not accept Dasam Granth as writing of the Tenth Nanak.

Another very revealing article is by Principal Harbhajan Singh. His research showed that nobody knows which banis were recited in 1699.

Happy reading.

Season’s Greetings.

Gur Fateh.
