Is consuming meat acceptable in sikhism?
If no, please give me strong points to support this.
However, according to this article, we are allowed to eat meat but it should not be HALAL. Sikhism Religion of the Sikh People
Waheguruji ka Khalsa Waheguruji ki Fateh,
Many times a goat is slaughterd in Gurdwara permises in Hazur
Saheb and the head of the poor goat is carried in a bata
in side the main gurdwara and with the blood of the goat the
tilak is applied to the Shastrs of Sri Guru Gobind Singhji.
I know there have been lots of discussions. But none come to any conclusions and ended being very long threads adding more to frustration of a seeker.
So a poll for straightforward answer. Please keep in mind to provide answer only and only from spiritual perspective.
Was this a sikh debate, or hindus?

The practise of Jhatka is one of the most recognisable rituals of the Nihang Singhs.

Recently I have seen some clips on youtube about jhatka at some historical gurdwaras. Not only jhatka but also offering ( bhog lagana ) it to the shashtras of Dasam pita. All the karamkands (brahmanical style of rites) during and after the jhatka were more ironical.
I believe that eating...

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa
Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,
Please somebody explain to me what is meaning of this? I was told by my cousin that at Hazoor Sahib, at the end of Akhand Path, they sacrifice a lamb and use the blood for Tilak. I recently had a chance to check this out myself on the Youtube. I...
what about eating human flesh in Sikhism? as long as the human was not ritually slaughtered, of course... maybe it would be preferable to kill the human by Jhatka method.. (although i don't see the logic there, because Jhatka is hindu method of sacrificing animals to Kali, but ok)
l An American Sikh had a miraculous escape when he was attacked by followers of a Sikh sect, for raising objection over the slaughtering of a goat and then applying ‘tilak’ of its blood on weapons. The American Sikh was dragged by...
