In some Gurbani discussions I have been hearing references to something called chetan and a concept of "sentient vs. non-sentient" parts of being.
I cannot find references to this in Gurbani and I can't find the word chetan.

at first when i am referring to "God" i am just generically talking about testing into how a person knows something, i.e., epistemology, in the normal world. so as i go about my day, i use my senses to empirically observe things...
