Saadh Sangat Ji,
We feel blessed to announce that a podcast (Waheguroo! Network Podcast) has been started by Waheguroo! Network sevadaars. The podcast interface/design is still in development so please bear with us as we fix any glitches

The podcast will be updated on weekly basis. Basically, our main purpose is to create a library of Sikhi books and make it available freely to the youth. Every week we will be publishing a part of a book which you will be able to listen to with your iPod, mp3 player or even your computer.

Although Guru Sahibs and countless Gursikhs have left a big treasure full of knowledge for us, many of us youth aren't able to benefit from it fully because of language barriers and other reasons. With this podcast, you will be able to listen to these Sikhi books online and gain from them in a similar way as you would by reading them yourself.

We hope that the sangat will appreciate our 'upraala' of starting this podcast. Please do support us in our efforts by listening to the podcast on frequent basis and by sending us your valuable suggestions. Please do ardas to Guru Sahib so we can continue this service.

vwihgurU jI kw Kwlsw!

Sachkhand Darshan - Chapter 1

2007-02-11_sachkhand_darshan_-_chapter_1.jpg

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਿਹ

In the first chapter of the book ‘Sachkhand Darshan’, Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji has written that all the astounding phenomena enlisted in Gurbani are based on the personal and evidential experiences of our Guru Sahibs. Upon reading Bani, one must recognize these experiments of Guru Sahib as true and place complete faith in the teachings of Guru Sahib. However, mortal beings do not recognize these facts even after reading Gurbani. Bhai Sahib writes that some people hold the opinion that the five khands mentioned in Jap Ji Sahib can be experienced only through the thought process; meaning that as one progresses spiritually, he or she advances through these experimental states.

Sachkhand Darshan - Introduction and Prologue

Our second podcast features a short introduction to Bhai Randhir Singh Ji’s book - "Sachkhand Darshan" and to his admirable character.
Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji is popularly looked upon as a simple, yet passionate keertani, but this alone does not complete the description of Bhai Sahib’s character. Bhai Randhir Singh Ji was a great naam-abhiyaasi who chanted naam “saas-giraas,” with each and every breath"which may be the explanation to why Bhai Sahib Ji’s writings are so difficult for the common individual to comprehend.
Thus, we would like to inform that despite the fact that this book provides an in-depth look at many topics related to Sikhi, the usage of difficult language by Bhai Sahib Ji can be very puzzling. We have tried our best to read this book to make the text easier to understand, and have at times, substituted the heavy language with simplified terminology. However, to keep the original essence intact, we have refrained from substitution as much as possible. After the finalization of the reading of “Sachkhand Darshan,” we will attempt to select simpler works of literature.
