are Sikh youth being approached in the right way.
On Sikh TV is the rap 'son of a sadaar' promoting Sikhism or giving it a bad name with the way they are dilivering the message? At a sikhi camp children were given a CD.... that CD included Sikh guys all dressed up rapping and a lot of swearing. Is thew wrong message going across? You wouldnt see a muslim or a christian doing that. Also a vaisakhi you see young boys driving around in their cars, wearing massive khandeh and blasting their music out load...... do they really know the real meaning of the celebration or are they just there to show off their status. Also the Punjabi songs are are about a certain caste and its usually jatts.....and this drives today's youth away from religion and towards a fake world of money and class status. Being jatt my family are also guilty of this and I feel that everyone is getting trapped.
STOP THE CASTE THING!!!! STOP THE WRONG MESSAGE GETTING ACROSS!
WE AR NOT PEOPLE WHO ACT BAD SHOWING OFF OUR JEWELRY MONEY AND FLASHY CARS!!!! WE NEED TO LEAD THE SIMPLE TRUE SIKH WAY OF LIFE .......
