Demanding the setting up of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the anti-Sikh riots, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Sunday said if such a team could be formed to look into the post-Godhra riots then why could the government not do the same in this case.

“When day to day hearing can be ordered in 2002 Gujarat riots and Chief Minister Narendra Modi can be summoned for questioning by the SIT, why the UPA government is reluctant to ensure expeditious justice to 7,000 Sikhs families waiting for the last 25 years,” asked Daljit Singh Cheema, Secretary, SAD. SAD is creating some noise here. this is right time for second level Akali leaders must pickit up and have successful campaigns. this will raise this issue and aslo promote new leadership.
A rally even at tehsil level is good enough to create interest. Admin fears any well organised peaceful rally, even if it is at a small level. A chain effect will make it big.
It works like micro-financing. it takes very little effort with huge combined result/effect.
only need is for right people to know and take ation.
Even Sardar mann can do his part. Key word is...'peaceful' and make it known to EVERYBODY ... beforehand... that there is going to be a peaceful rally.

Let us do it and see results.
Do not expect but just move on with whatever result youget ( Do karma and,....)
It is the duty.

There is special investigation team for Gujarat riots because Gujarat riots 2002 were much more hyped by the Indian media than what their original intensity was because of INdian media support to congress.Thousands of muslims were killed in riots before 2002 in different states forget about justice they don't even received proper compensation.Yet Media keep on discussing Gujarat riots again and again as if Gujarat riots are the only riots
in the history of independent India.
