Good post ! Ishna n Sukh have contributed beautifully !
How would you describe the Sikh world view?
..life affirmation, real and meaningful. It is to be celebrated and enjoyed in full. Humankind and they're society [panth] have an end some ultimate state of perfection [sachiara] to which they must naturally approximate and towards which they must necessarily strive and that divine law [hukam] is an essential feature for precipitating this end [God realisation and liberation from the wheel of 84].
What constitutes a Sikh response to life?
An active and positive mindset that is creative and ethical in every sense. Thus, paving way for physical and spiritual development that underpins fundamentals of life [scientific n spiritual]. It is the moral life that forms the chief fundamentals of spiritual growth, which in turn liberates the human being from the fetters of physical bondage.
How should a Sikh see the world?
A Sikh should have an optimistic [chardi kala] outlook to everything in life and believe that humankind have a divine purpose. A more complete fulfilment of that great and sacred mission [gurmukh] with which humans were sent to discover the laws of Akal Purakh and, for them to conform and conquer nature’s many disguises for their own use; thus themselves divine instruments.
Good evening !
