The girls have not been vanished overnight. This is the result of decades of sex determination tests and female foeticide that has acquired genocide proportions. If this problem could not be checked then the next census will reveal a further fall in child sex rations thoughout the country. Who is responsible for this declining sex ratio in Punjab which is considered as the worst since 1991.

Now when the situation has deteriorated and the Government has not taking steps to check this problem. She is right that the girls have not vanished overnight. Why sex determination tests are still prevailing and why the abortions of girl child is being made. When we feel that there is continuous fall in girls population. Then why the social organizations don't make efforts to aware the people especially in rural areas to tackle this problem
