Sikh News Suzlon's Rs 500 Crore Wind Energy Foray In Punjab (New Kerala)

Chandigarh, Dec 13 : The Punjab State today achieved a major breakthrough in the field of renewable energy as the multi-national company Suzlon Gujarat Wind Park signed two MoUs with Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) for the setting up of two Wind Power Projects of 50MW each (total 100 MW) in Hoshiarpur district and Mukatsar district at an estimated cost of Rs 500 Crore.
