ESSENCE: In the salok, Guru ji define who to be beyond reproach. Constantly aware of the creator, sees creator embedded in all, thankful to the creator in every living moment, such is the guide to salvation.

Guru Arjan Dev ji in Astpadi 9, 2nd stanza address the truthfulness of actions versus the traditional beliefs in following Vishnu or Krishna. One so blessed by one creator, unaffected by worldly possessions, selfless deeds, expects no rewards for good deeds, focused on creator’s praise and virtues, awareness of creator in body and mind and is kind towards all living.

Guru ji conclude that such is true Vaishnon who so gets understanding of the creator and helps others do so. Such achieves the highest status.
Please note all errors are mine and I stand corrected.
