History Sikhs And Communists

Found this on the internet, couldn't find the history of it tho.....
is there any History between Sikhs and the Communists before the independence of INDIA.
Why were sikhs holding communists flags ? Wasn't Khalsa's flag around at that time ?

If I had to speculate, I would say that the Communist advocacy of secularism will always attract certain people of minority religions. As well as the issue of land reform for a largely agricultural state. I suspect these sardars are farmers.

One thing is sure, India has lots of communists compared to other non-communist countries.

What about the Sikh concept of Halemi Raj? Is it compatible with socialism?

take a close look at the photo, its actually not a communist flag, its a ghostbusters flag, you can quite clearly see the logo

I am completely unqualified to define Sikh theological concepts but I was introduced to the term by Jagraj Singh, e.g., here:


Of course, he was a particular individual with a particular point of view, but I will leave it to others to give a precise definition.

It's true, but some Sikh's believe that Bhagat Singh Ji took amrit shortly before his execution and such.

i've read Kapoor Singh's Discription on Bhagat singh....
Kapoor Singh was a member of Parliament from Punjab in 1960s maybe, He was a highly educated and a pure Gursikh as per most intellectuals says.... He even Analysed the current situation of Sikhs in india in late 1970s and predicted Genocides of Sikhs which came true in the time of 1984 and then 1990s.
He was a child when Bhagat singh was Martyred........ But Boi He Tells a whole different story of Bhagat singh than what is currently on paper.

Deathbed conversions are not unknown. We don't know and will never know unless and until we meet up in the Heavenly Abode. Since I have seen no evidence of his return to Sikhi, I am very skeptical. Whether he did or didn't, he did live his life as a search for freedom and justice and he was martyred for his beliefs in true Sikh fashion.

Kapoor Singh wasn't a child when Bhagat Singh got hanged in 1931, but he was a young adult. He was 22 years old when Bhagat Singh got hanged.

It is not possible, Cuz bhagat singh was arrested in 8 april 1929 for lahore assembly bomb case, The letter " Why i am an Atheist " was written by him in 1930, He never came out of jail after april 1929.......
It is not possible that he took AMRIT.. EVERR

I think there is a misunderstanding, I am stating that he was a bit older, I am not saying that I agree with his beliefs. I believe that Bhagat Singh was an atheist, and had a firm beliefs in Marxism.

The trouble is history gets contorted, it is common knowledge that Bhagat Singh was actually a fan of the Marx brothers, and did a very good impersonation of Harpo, this has been misunderstood to portray him as a Marxist, which is incorrect
