Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!
Dear all!

Gurdev is singing.

dui kar jorhi simrao dinu raatee mayray suaamee agam apaararNaa. SGGS Ang 1077-9
With my palms pressed together, I meditate in remembrance on You, day and night, O my inaccessible, infinite Lord and Master. ||10||

May I ask if a Sikh can do Simran with his palms pressed together day and nights? How does he do his other necessities of the day when his hands are folded?

A true sikh can do anything to stick to the edict. However, the above implies metaphors and implies that with full devotion meditate upon HIM. Hope it clarifies.

Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!
Dear all and Sikh80 Jee!

Quote "A true sikh can do anything to stick to the edict."
A true Sikh, according to your explanation, may be a super person. He can also fold both of his hands and do his other necessities of the day.

Quote "However, the above implies metaphors and implies that with full devotion meditate upon HIM. Hope it clarifies.
Is all that metaphor what one does not understand?
Surprise, why Gurdev did not explain it in your words.

Dear all and Namjap Jee!

Quote "Those who know do not speak, those who speak do not know.

I am not sure if Lao Tze ever spoke but wrote his wisdom.

The true Gurus are well timed. They speak and write also.

Perhaps this is correct. 'Those who know do not copy and paste, those who copy and paste, do not know'.

Honestly, Is this necessary? Let's take it back.

To accuse others is a sign of want of education.
To accuse oneself shows that one's education has begun.
To accuse neither oneself nor others shows that one's education is complete !!

How can one learn when one's cup is already full ?

Dear all!

Quote from Sikh80 Jee "Surprising that Gurdev could also not explain in the manner that you could have appreciated.Really surprised.!"
How long one has to wait till the Satguru tunes him with the right frequency of the Sender? The answer is 'till God's Grace fall on him with true Naam Sabad'.
HIS Appreciation is unbroken. Please learn to move your knob to receive the Sender.

Balbir Singh wrote "Perhaps this is correct. Those who know do not copy and paste, those who copy and paste, do not know." Aad0002 Jee reacted and wrote "Honestly, Is this necessary? Let's take it back."
Many Pandits, when asked the taste of Truth, start referring the Sloks from scriptures along with the page and line number.
One who is living Truth does not require references.

Learning scriptures and referring those is the occupation of a pandit. The knower of Brahm is the true Brahmin.
The true Sikh is blessed with the true Gur that unifies Nirgun and Sargun into ONE.

Dear Namjap Jee,
Please ponder. Why the translators have come to a no sense understanding of the true Guru's Vaak?

Has anyone contact with the professors and deans of your universities to clarify it? Please convey them, this request.

'If speech is sweet, the echo will be sweet; if speech is harsh, the echo will be harsh. If the body is long, the shadow will be long; if the body is short, the shadow will be
short. Reputation is like an echo, personal experiences like a shadow."

I thought the angle and the distance to the light source play the role.

Yield and overcome
Bend and be straight
Empty and be full
Wear out and be new
Have little and gain
Have much and be confused
unlearn and re-learn
bring joy to pain

Please do not live in controversies.
Also, do not imagine another Baabaa in me.

Has someone to say something about the query?

Balbir ji

Do you mean the query about translations? My own opinion is that the problem of translations is not going to be cleared up. That we have to find ways to overcome the problem.

Deans and professors (whom you mentioned in your earlier comments) are unlikely to say anything that will make the problem go away.
