AMRITSAR: Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President (DSGMC) Paramjit Singh Sarna and his brother Harvinder Singh Sarna here Saturday appeared at Akal Takht (the highest Sikh temporal seat),submitted clarification against the compliant filed by Delhi based senior advocate H.S. Phoolka.

H.S. Phoolka in his complaint had alleged that Sarna brothers had hurt his dignity by leveling the allegation of misuse of Rs 109 crore.
On hearing the plea of Sarna brothers and Phoolka, Sikh clergy decided to form the five members committee to sort out the differences between them and to find out the legitimacy of clarification submitted by the Sarna brothers before Akal Takht.

However, perturbed from the Sarna’s allegation, Phoolka had offered to quit the 26-year-long battle for justice to victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in the various courts in Delhi. But Akal Takht today once again told Phoolka to continue battle for justice to victims for the larger interest of Sikh community.

Phoolka talking to media said he described whole incident as part of 'a deep rooted conspiracy to shield (some) guilty Congress leaders' who were close to Sarna family and now it became impossible for certain Congress leaders who were then involved to genocide the Sikhs in Delhi during 1984 anti Sikh riots. Now this is an attempt to save them from the court of law but impossible.

Phoolka said that he was also no more interested to stretch fight with Sarna but his struggle to put the guilty congress leaders behind the bars who were responsible for the genocide of Sikhs in year of 1984.

Whereas, today Sarna could only file the documents which shown that only Rs. 15 lakhs were spent to fight the cases of riots victims but he could not substantiate his claim for Rs. 1.9 crore as a reason Akal Takht formed the committee to bring out the truth.

Whereas, Sarnas brothers said that they were binding to Akal Takht and follow its directions with letter and spirit which would be issued in future following the report to be submitted by the committee formed by the Takht.
