Dhan Nirankar,
Dear all,
I recently started learning some bandishes from books on gurmat sangeet. My question: In the GuruGranthSahib, there is gurbani with the heading "sri raag" which means the following bani is to be sung in the sri raag. In order to fulfill/understand this, how does one go about it? For instance, If I know the aroh, avroh, and pakad (elements) of Sri raag, is this enough to make a bandish of that bani in Sri raag or this is incorrect? Moreover, how do the authors come up with the bandishes that they present in the gurmat sangeet books?
