PEEVED AT the Centre over its stepmotherly treatment when it comes to tax sops, the Punjab government has decided to move the apex court seeking compensation of over Rs 10,000 crore and quashing of all tax benefits given to three hill states - Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Jammu and Kashmir.
