Consider , Its 3pm. I am sitting in the office . Its friday. In a few hours, I will leave office. I see tomorrow is off , day after tomorrow is day off too. 2 DAYS ! imagine what all I can do with it . All my pending tasks , all my pending work, learn a new programming language, wake up at amritvela and meditate.

So excited, but when the time comes, 'instant gratification monkey' takes over ! The 2 days pass away like a whiff . On the sunday night, I am still sitting with all my pending tasks, things I should have done already. And perhaps I will wake up all night to do those things. And then go office next day on monday, after a sleepless night, to only feel more drained...

Is there any end to procrastination. I can't get it off ! It has become beyond chronic now :(

There are many productivity tools you can utilize. Start by observing how they get things done at the workplace. You can adapt some of those techniques for use in your personal life.

Most basic of all:

1. Make a list of all the pending tasks you have.
2. Prioritize the list (by ranking and rating each item)
3. Make a commitment to yourself that you will complete 2 tasks per day (or more if you can handle it)
4. Try to make it the first thing you do that day (that way you will get the difficult task out of the way early on, and you can enjoy the rest of the day)
5. Repeat

All the best.

I'd like to see Seeker's reply, too!

I end up grocery shopping, cooking, sometimes cleaning, then just spending hours on forums, Facebook and playing agar.io....

Extremely sorry I was away for a while
So as Harry haller JI and Ishna JI asked, what I do
well what does a procrastinator do except lazing off , watching videos of horror show that came in mid 90's (my childhood time) , youtube, facebook , twitter , and ofcourse the darker side of the net - porn .
