Cirque du Soleil’s special performance, “One Night for One Drop,” above, had hundreds lining up early for admittance Friday. The show at the Bellagio benefits the One Drop Foundation for water-related causes worldwide, with $1 million earmarked for the Springs Preserve locally. Event guest stars included 12-year-old operatic singer Jackie Evancho, “speed painter” David Garibaldi and a string quartet performing an original composition by composer Danny Elfman. All of Cirque’s other Las Vegas titles were closed Friday. The performance can be viewed on One Drop’s website, OneDrop.org, for a week.
