One Amrit From Five?

Dear all!

Gurdev is singing
"naanak amrit ayk hai doojaa amrit naahi." SGGS Ang 1238-18
Nanak, Amrit is one. Other is not Amrit.

Please express your views why Sikhs need five to get One Amrit.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh ji.

what you mean is "Khandey Batte Dee PAHUL"..the Initiation ceremony for admission to Khalsa Brotherhood ordained by Guru gobind Singh ji at vasakhi 1699.

The "nanak AMRIT" Ek hai...in SGGS GURBANI is indeed the ONE and ONLY AMRIT and it is found in GURBANI.

No where is PAHUL ever mentioned as "Amrit"..it has always been PEEVOH PAHUL KHNADEYDHAAR HOVEH JANAM SOHELA...somehow along the way this PAHUL came to be mistakenly referred to as "Amrit"..and this is WRONG.

From that some misguided sikhs have even gone on to describe the "SAROVARS" as full of AMRIT...water in bottles kept under SGGS is also called "amrit"..etc etc ALL WRONG. AMRIT is only Found in SGGS GURBANI..no where else.

Das once worte a reply to S. Kala Afghana Sahib thing of Nanak Amrit Ek Hai from sikhmarg.com as das thinks that Bhai Balbeer Singh Ji has taken perhaps.

Unforutantly it was lost while stroing(das put it in his yahoo.com briefcase but when das reopmed it,it was lost.)

Das will try to rework on that and give reply.But as Sikhs called black Grams as Almonds and urinating as sinking Kabul(from where inavders were coming and attacing them) so Pahil could be termed as Amrit.

As Amrit is mark that what was in mind has come to practicle as we are converted to Gurmat.And seeing that all is eternal (a)not(Mrit)death.So Pahil is eternal as water composed of Akal and whole visible thing is Eternal.5Banis are read for that only that revision is done again.

Anway without understanding Bani Baptism may not be working As Amrit.

They preach modern Sikhi that peoples of all skin colors may go for drinking Pahul at least once to become Amritdhaaree. Have I understood it correctly that Amritdhaarees are PAHUL drunk, not real Amritdhaarees?

Please allow me a question. Amrit that is only found in SGGS GURBANI begins raining in human beings, when and how? Do we need somebody's speech, our ears and mind etc. as medium or nothing?

Sorry, I did not find Amrit in Kala Afghana Sahib.

I do not know when Great Grand Gurus baptized the ten Gurus with PAHUL and if they ever tried to understand Gurbaanee. The Gurus are singing Amrit today also though.

Singh Sahib Das understands yuor point of you.Akal makes one understand Gurbani but when this happens,one is one with One Only ie Akal.
