The clerics, who met at Akal Takht, also directed Sikhs across the world not to keep any kind of ties with him nor allow him to speak in any religious or social programmes. Underlining that gurdwaras were for all irrespective of castes, the Sikh high priests warned that no person should be denied entry to gurdwaras on the basis of castes. The Takht has received complaints in this regard. While issuing a warning to stop such a practice, the clerics said that those found to be indulging in non-compliance of directions will face strict action as per Gur Maryada (Sikh religious code of conduct). The Sikh priests, who directed the managers of gurdwara Khalsa Parkash Windsor to lift the ban on entry of some devotees in the gurdwara, also warned politicians not to use the verses of Gurbani on political stickers pasted on the walls in the city.
