In London around 10,000 Sikhs marched to Trafalgar Square. The march was a rememberance of the attacks on the Golden Temple in India. Also a plea was made regarding human rights violations and the atrocities that continue to occur in India.

Again from a British perspective the Sikhs seemed to not be getting any support from any other communities. Also there was no support from political parties, trade unions and very little coverage in the mainstream media.

I am glad that people still protest and let others know that we still remember. I know many people who say that we as Sikhs should let go but then I ask them how can those who lost all they had let go. It is easy for people to say but those who actually lost everything know how it felt and still feels. There should be protests like these done all over to send a message that we will never forget.
