For example you can find an employer who is willing to hire you and the government will pay a third of your salary to the employer who will accept to hire you permanently when the program ends. Statistics show that compared to locals (who may stay on welfare all their lives), immigrants don't stay on welfare too long, they manage to make a decent living, for the obvious reason that they are more motivated (those that are not don't even think of immigrating) and also because they appreciate the opportunities offered. So that's encouraging for you. As I said already it's the psychological side that is most difficult...for example, even if you eat the same food as in India, it will not taste the same and that's just a small example.
