Manmohan invites Zardari, Gilani for India-Pakistan match
ISLAMABAD: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has invited President and Prime Minister of Pakistan to watch the world cup semi-final between India and Pakistan match at Mohali with him, which is scheduled to be held on March 30.
According to Indian media reports, the Indian PM stated that he proposed to be at Mohali to watch the World Cup semi-final match between India and Pakistan to be held on 30th March.
There is huge excitement over the match and they are all looking forward to a great game of cricket, that will be a victory for sport, he added. He further stated that it would give him great pleasure to invite the Pakistani leaders to visit Mohali and join him and the millions of fans from the two countries.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Foreign Office has confirmed that the invitations have been received but no decision has been taken so far.
