FREMONT, CA: The World Trade Center tragedy has literally divided world history into two distinguishable epochs, the Pre-9/11 and the Post 9/11. Hate crimes targeted towards the various communities following the September11 tragedy has mobilized a strong drive among artists, filmmakers, playwrights, and directors to voice the reactions of the community and to educate the masses. North of 49 is one such fine example.

The film narrates the story of how four unsuspecting teenagers burnt down the Gobind Sadan Sikh Temple in Palermo, New York, just eight weeks after the World Trade Center tragedy.
