Help regarding persuasion to not cut hair.

Hi, I have a dispute with my fiance, she wants to cut her hair after marriage she is from sehaj dhari family, where she is not allowed to cut hair but she wants to cut her hair after marriage, I am an Amritdhari sikh and my whole family is amritdhari, therefore I don't want her to cut hair because even if it is her will to keep or cut hair it'll still impact my kids because parents are role model for children and i want to create my children guru's sikhs.
Please help me what should I do here because how much i tried talking to her it always failed to any productive conversation but i have great affection for her so does she have for me, but I don't think this is small thing for me to cut hair, so it will be a great issue if not dealt right now.
