It can communicate profound messages about who we are and who we want to be; this is something that the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Sahib Ji, and his constant companion, Bhai Mardana Ji, understood beautifully. With this in mind, when the Human Culture Collective asked UNITED SIKHS to be involved in their World Arts for World Issues event alongside organizations like Amnesty International and Fairtrade, we seized the opportunity, and ran with it to create a special contribution to a rich and interactive programme. The result is that music will play whilst we focus on poverty issues through film and talks on Saturday, 26th June 2010 at 6pm at The cargo in London. See poster here for details and ticket sales.
