The Gurus were too much above the earthly attributes. Such earthly credits try to lower down their high spiritual achievements which only can be reached by truly following their teachings.
I'm unsure what you mean by lowering their achievements..

To me Sacha pathsha is truth, descriptive of the nature of akaal..

Sat Sri Akaal,

Guruu. Or Guru is connect between darkness to light.
In abstract form it is
Air ie Breath that connects mind to body
Guru
As a realised one of spirirual, or other subjects realisation.
Gur as a person having vocal or skill sets.

Kings .are earthly rulers may or may not have any of above qualities

Patshah .Refers to creator, who makes king, or makes maker of king makers ie Nature and Awareness of Truth of Nature. One can never equals to creator.

Gurus have never added any prefix as Name tags and lived a humble life and even GURU was not prefixed, though aware of creators and practitioners of TRUTH.

One can self analyse the statement.
