There was an old remnant of a fort where Guru Nanak meditated. Gurdwara was constructed at the same place. Guru Hargobind came here to visit Guru Nanak's place. Guru Hargobind Sahib was allowed to take water from the well. Guru Ji cursed the water of the well to be bitter. Whosoever drank it would die. The saudi Hindus who obstructed the Guru have to leave the village. Othere village came and fell at Guru Hargobind's feet and requested for well for water. The Guru said that4 after some time mu=y Sikhs would come here and the water will be again sweet. When gangsar Morcha Sikhs came here and used this water this wat4e became sweet. While demolishing the earlier kutch structure of the Gurdwara in 1919 they chanced upon the handwritten details of the gurus to this place.
