The devotee keeps his beloved enshrined in his heart.</p><p></p><p>ਰਵਨੀ ਰਵੈ ਬੰਧਨ ਨਹੀ ਤੂਟਹਿ ਵਿਚਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਭਰਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥</p><p></p><p>By merely saying God, the bonds of ego do not break and the doubt does not depart.</p><p></p><p>ਜਿਨਾ ਸਾਸਿ ਗਿਰਾਸਿ ਨ ਵਿਸਰੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾਂ ਮਨਿ ਮੰਤੁ ॥</p><p></p><p>Those who do not forget God while breathing or eating are dyed by God’s name.</p><p></p><p>ਧੰਨੁ ਸਿ ਸੇਈ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਪੂਰਨੁ ਸੋਈ ਸੰਤੁ॥੧॥</p><p></p><p>O Nanak they are complete saints and praiseworthy. ||1||</p><p></p><p>ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਤ ਹਉਮੈ ਤੂਟੈ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਲੇਖੈ ਪਾਈ ॥੨॥</p><p></p><p>Meeting the guru eliminates ego; then only saying God means anything? ||2|| page 353</p><p></p><p>ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੇ ਸੋ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਜਾਨੈ ॥ page 416</p><p></p><p>One who serves the guru realizes God.</p><p></p><p>ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਬਿਲੋਵਨਾ ਮਨ ਕਾ ਬੀਚਾਰਾ ॥</p><p></p><p>The churning of the Lord is the thinking of the mind.</p><p></p><p>ਇਕਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਹਿ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੇ ਲਗੈ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥</p><p></p><p>One who serves the guru like a servant falls in love with God’s name.</p><p></p><p>ਸਤਿ ਸਾਚੁ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਸਦਾ ਤੁਹੀ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਵਾਹਿ ਜੀਉ</p><p></p><p>You are true primal Lord from the beginning and forever.</p><p></p><p>Waahey Guru waahey Guru God God O Waahay guru;</p><p></p><p>ਸਭੈ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਰਾਗੰਨ ਕੇ ਅਠਾਰਹ ਦਸ ਬੀਸ</p><p></p><p>All are the sons of the Creator of music (God)</p><p></p><p>whether eighteen, ten or twenty page 1430</p></blockquote><p></p>
