ਲਾਹੌਰ- ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਲੀਗ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਜਿੱਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਮੇਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਪੋ੍ਰਵਿੰਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਨਾਮਜਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਵਧੀਆ ਕਦਮ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਰਮੇਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੈਸੇਵੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਚਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਨਾਮਜਦਗੀ `ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਨਵੀਂ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਸੰਭਾਲਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਲਿਆਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਹਿਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇ ਕਿ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ 172 ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਜੁੱੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।

First Sikh elected in Pakistan from Muslim League Party
Lahore- After Pakistan's Muslim League Party's historic victory, it has nominated the first Sikh Ramesh Singh Arora for the Provisional Assembly. It is the step in the right direction to sort out Sikh affairs in Pakistan.
Ramesh Singh Arora is already the member of the Minority National Commission. He is very happy with this nomination and said that it is his responsibility now to make the Pakistan government aware of the Sikh causes and to try to solve them will be his first priority.
It is important to notice that there are 172 historical Gurdwaras in Pakistan and the Sikhs all over the world have great reverence for them.
