From what I know from some friends back in UK, the house shown at the end of the video is the house where one of the 'Tipton taliban' actually lived.:interestedmunda:
You may remember that 3 young lads from Tipton were arrested in Pakistan by US troops during the late Bush years. These 3 were then taken and held at the famous camp x-ray in Cuba for a long time !!
This little Black country town was made famous by the 'Tipton three' !!

Do authorities know yet who is responsible for the blast? Outside a mosque suggested to me this might be a right-wing operation.

I still cannot get a complete article on this. Have not yet checked the Daily Mail.

It doesn't seem that anyone has come forward or claimed responsibility but there are quite a lot of general tensions in that neighborhood from what I know.
There is a huge mixture and some tensions between the Pakistani and Bengali muslims as well as the common sunni and shia. Then on top of this the adjacent white community has previously had a lot of BNP support with them running in the local elections over the years.

I think they are looking into whether this explosion is connected to one that occurred in a home near a mosque on the 21st some 9/10 miles away in Walsall
It's a common council property town like many in UK with extremely high unemployment rates.

This statement from the police officials.

Mosque blast was 'intended to cause serious harm'

Police have confirmed details of an explosion near a mosque in Tipton. The blast is understood to have centred on an embankment near a disused rail line running behind the Kanz Ul Iman Masjid mosque.

We can't say for definite the explosion was intended to damage the mosque but the most likely conclusion is it was intended to cause serious harm to people or property.

That leads us to have a working assumption, based on what we know now, that this is an act of terrorism.

We have a large number of experts and specialists working on this case and I'm confident we'll get to the bottom of exactly what happened.

We have officers visiting local mosques and other places of worship to offer reassurance...and the response from the mosque has been very supportive.

This is greatly helping our enquiries.
