General Bhangra For Kids In Iraq

Aman ji,

This is wonderful. It reminds me of a news article where Sikh soldiers in the UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon taught kids in a war torn neighborhood yoga.

It makes the "other" side human and a source of fun, a break from the misery.

So what makes me really happy about this is that the US Armed Forces is really a diverse group and the GI feels comfortable expressing his cultural identity and sharing it with kids in Iraq.
