Are we WehaGuru's Shakti?

I hope this is the right subforum for this.

In my early teens and before I a heard about Sikhi I studied the Indian sex centric religions known in the West as Tantra.

“shaktis” originally meant “power” but it came to imply “female consort".

A Shakti is the earthly power of a god.

I think this one of the reasons the Sikhs are referred to in the feminine if SGGS.

To use a Christen metaphor; the Khalsa are the mysterius why that god works it.

THis is why doing Seva and always strive to be upstanders is core to Sikhi.
