Dear all,

here is very interesting audio/vedio talk by two UK Singhs (Kamalroop Singh and Sukha Singh) one of them doing PHD on Dassam Granth and other also studying Bani of Dasam Guru.

In short they describe Dasam Granth sahib a Bani which is pure form of shakti and also the Bani that elevateds the level of women as representaion of shakti.

There is also description about Jaap Sahib and also two Sakhis related to that

Re: An Inspirational vedio / Audio regarding Dasam Granth and Jaap Sahib!

Very Good! I am reading the Dassam Granth at the moment. I admit I have a basic Knowledge and I am not entriley sure even from the video where is the Jap in the Dassam Granth and how long is it etc that we are meant to recite. Is it the whole of japu? But the Jap he was saying was very short. Please advise as I would like to start saying this daily.

Japu Sahib is at the start of Dasham Granth Sahib Ji.

It starts from Chakr Chinah..
and ends at Abhangam Vibhute.

To understand that we can read portion of it but in Path or prayer we need to read the whole.

Yes I know where the Japu is, as I said I am reading the Dassam Granth at the moment. What I want to know is: the Jap he was saying was very short, where is the one Baba Deep singh recited?

Dear Friend

In the vedio he just spoke a part of jap to give example and also he mentioned a mantra which he thinks is essense of jap sahib that is Hariyan Kariyan nirname.......

But there is no cinfusion about jaap sahib it is the same as given in Nitnem Gutka,

Dear Vijaydeep Singh

I remember know that I have seem him in Barking gurdwara in langar hall but I cant remember If I was introduced or not.

As none of you have answered my question I will just go away and read the whole Japu for myself and find it myself... Though it may be quicker just to ask someone, I was wrong!

Dear Friend

Sorry for misunderstanding , I could not understand what you were asking
In the Lecture it was mentioned that Baba Deep Sing ji used to recite Jaap SAhib 108 times daily
He alkso mentioned that he used two mantras in battle field One fron Jaap Sahib and other from Bachitar Natak ( part of dasam granth )

From Jaap sahib :

GOBINDE, MUKANDE, UDARE, APARE, HARIANG, KARIANG, NIRNAME, AKAME

From bachitar natak In Tribanghi chand

KHAG KHAND BHANDAN KHAL DAL KHANDAN AT RN MNDAN BRBANDAN....

BHUJDAND AKHANDAN TEJ PRAJANDAN JOOT AMANDAN BHAAN PRABHAN......

SUKH SANTA KARNAN DURMAT DARNAN KILBILKH HARNAN AS SARNAN.....

JAI JAI JAG KARAN SRIST UBARAAN MUMPRATPAARAN JAI TEGHAN..."

SIR MUKHVAAK PATSHAHI DASVIN, SIRI SHASTR NAAM MALA.

I hope it helps .
