I don't know if you were asking me this... but I don't really believe in hell, i mean i feel whatever God has in store for us is beyond our comprehension. We as humans can only think so far... and since we (sikhs) believe in reincarnation.. one would argue that the world itself can be hell...
Isn't life bad enough? I guess one needs to be able to escape the evils of the world first and then think beyond.... Only those who've done many wrongs will need to be afraid of hell.. or if there is even such.. but if you live life and do right according to humanity.. u should not have anything...
I personally also feel that God really doesn't care if we get piercings or tattoos.. I mean it's a means of expression and if you want to express your faith.. there doesn't really seem to be anything wrong with that.. All people are trying to do is respect.. some think it is disrespectful...
I was just wondering about this.. I hope my question isn't silly, but I wanted to know who/what were we (Sikhs) before we became Sikhs or before sikhi started. Were we hindu, muslim, etc. or no religion at all and were just in search of a path; the right path...
Anoop ji, I wonder the same thing at times.. I mean if God is inside you.. then y is it so hard to reach him? But i guess that's what our task is.. overcome this barrier b/w yourself and God... and that barrier is oneself. I've heard this many times that while doing path/simran one should always...

This was a very sad article... but someone mentioned something about the 10th Guru asking to keep the 5ks... wouldn't one like to think this over and say the reason for that was that sikhs had no identity. They were mixed with the other religions and needed a different identity that set them...
Re: 13 reason for : "Why I am a Sikh"
Whatever you wrote is beautiful and helps us understand sikhi better... but I feel that they should start telling stuff like this at the gurdwaras. I mean when I see some people at the gurdwara it seems they just come there to socialize, little kids to...
What are you trying to say about sikh women? And if I were you I'd put real facts up instead of word of mouth. That book might have it's percentages right but looking at the FACT that it's written by some christain... don't you think it would be a bit biased?
