What Does Meditation Mean In Sikhism?

I agree with your above views. Meditating on the Gurmantar 'Waheguru' is most appropriate for a Sikh. Gurfateh !

    Professor Sarbjit Singh Dhunda

I touch feet of my elders, parents & they are not idols. I respect belongings of our Gurus but that of course is not equal to the level of respect given to SGGS Ji. Why a certain part of DG attracts you u much??? I will read that part once or twice, try to understand the purpose of the need...

Nothing's contradicting. I maintain again Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the ONE & ONLY Guru but there's no harm to respect belongings of the Gurus & Dasam Granth is one of those.

    Professor Sarbjit Singh Dhunda

The same time also respect the work, belongings of all our Gurus be it Dasam Granth, Chola of Guru Nanak Sahib, Shastars of our Gurus etc. But this guy Dhunda seems to disrespect Guru's belongings specifically the Dasam...

    Fools Who Wrangle Over Flesh

I got a chance to hear the vyakhya of Krishn Avtar from Dasam Grath in which Dasam Pitaji very openly disclosed certain facts. Guru never hid what Krishn did like ate sort of drugs...alchohols...etc but Guruji appreciated one thing giving more stress on it ... that was that Krishan was a core...

A Sikh Without His Flowing Hair And Turban

There are many SIKHS who will consider Guru's teachings as ORDERS. Bhai Lehna Ji wud never have become Guru Angad Dev Ji had he questioned Guru Nanak Ji on being asked to eat a dead body. A Guru's Sikh wud always take Guru's Teachings as 'Hukums' .... thts wht I feel others may differ on this...
