Sikh Organization in Care for Humanity The SOCH is a non-profit organization with a mission to impact the lives of less privileged children, enabling them to maximize their potential and change their lives. SOCH primarily focus is in the field of education, addressing formal education through sponsoring child’s school expenditure. SOCH also works in the area of Medical Assistance for the needy. Over the past 2 years, the organization has expanded from 6 children to over 250. A commitment is made to support each child by giving him or her a strong educational foundation along with spiritual dimension, a good time, self esteem and values, and to help them plan how they can earn a steady livelihood as a step towards improving their standard of living. The SOCH Team does a Selfless Service with No factionalism, where everyone is a leader and follower at same time, demonstrating Ethical behavior and Humility. SOCH is registered NGO with AP Government in the year 2009. SOCH mission is to help build strong communities that provide people with an opportunity to earn a dignified living, raise healthy families, and participate in democratic life. SOCH achieves this by strengthening the capacity of grassroots organizations, coalitions and networks and by forging linkages among government, business and the citizen sectors to achieve social, economic and environmental justice. In the current environment the rich is getting richer and poor is getting poorer. The ideology of SOCH is to break this vicious cycle by bringing the poor at par. The best way to achieve this to provide education for self-sustenance and make the community self-sufficient. With the blessing of Almightily SOCH working in the following areas: Faeley Vidya Chanan Hoye: Also known as FVCH is an initiative to provide Formal Education to the poor kids who can be self sufficient in future. We give children the hope and the opportunity to break with ignorance & poverty through high quality education. More Info: Faeley Vidya Chanan Hoye Medical and Hospitalization Aid: SOCH provides Medical & Hospitalization Aid on an emergency case to case basis. In the past SOCH has been touching lives by assisting one in getting the right medical attention to save lives.
