The Sikh Awards were presented by The Sikh Directory, who described the event as having the distinction of being the world’s first Sikh Awards ceremony. </p><p> The ‘Sikhs and Charities’ Award was given to UNITED SIKHS for best demonstrating ‘that it has the community at heart and has had a positive impact whilst improving the health and wellbeing of Sikhs”.
