Please Use Easy Language And Shorter Sentences. Dear member, RSPECT !! to the person who has made such a valiant effort to destroy something so badly that he landed up highlighting it. Yes Sir, i m being more than sarcastic here. Comparision has always been a favorite method of discriminating and showing the other thing better for a critic, but it only works with people who just see and believe and dont use thier brains to think over it. With all due respect Sir, i m highly confused here as to what topic did u write all that about? was it seriously to criticise christainity, the roman and greek way of thinking or religion as in whole? The topic clearly says "life in religion" if i happen to read it right in ur thread. As i have stated in my other posts, if we go back to the time where peopel were actually thinking about forming a thing like religion " what was going on in thier head? " IF u look at it from my point of view, those people who created religions were not fools.. they were geniuses and great scholars, where they not only created this great object named GOD.. but they made a system.. they set an ideal way to live life considering the political, geographical, economical, etc and every single condition they were in. for example ,hinduism originated from places which were .. geographically warm , fertile , lot of water and lots and lots of agrilculture. so what do they do... they tell the hindus not to eat non-veg food....utilise dairy products to maximum ... keep clean and bathe a lot .... not to kill animals ... and be peaceful people.. etc. whereas in islam theres scarsity of water the weather is very different and almost no agriculture...so thier religion asks them to do different things. so does christanity or judaism or any other religion for that matter. The only factor thats not working is ...TIME. religions have to evolve with time as the surroundings change with time.. conditions change with time.. people change with time.. so should religion... As NEWTON said " nothing is permanent but change" Throughout time everythign has been changing but religion has failed to evolve and cope up with it .. beign the reason for major failures or facing controvercies at the moment.. the reason for people following the newer religions is this.. majority of the world follows buddhism and christainity as they find those religions more flexible and fulfill thier needs comparitively more than the others. I would like to conclude by saying religion tells u "how to live a life ", it is infact a " way of life" . But to a person like me i would rather prefer the religion which suits my life and thats the RELIGION OF LOGIC.
