Kainth also claimed that the sabha has taken a decision to give unconditional support to the congress party only after Punjab Congress Chief, Capt. Amarinder Singh , his wife Preneet Kaur, union state minister for external affairs, have given an undertaking to implement the demands being raised by the sabha in its recently released Poll Agenda-2012 and the decision has been taken keeping in mind the interests of the scheduled castes especially the Chamar community and only the congress party come forward to give assurance to look into the demands concerning the welfare of the state scheduled castes. He further added that after making the announcement regarding supporting the Congress Party he himself paid a visit to Samana assembly segement area from where son of Punjab Congress Chief, Capt. Amarinder Singh, Raninder Singh alias Tikku is contesting the assembly election and during the tour he urged the sabha's member's to support Tikku whole heartily and fan out in the area in the support of the party. He claimed that the sabha is supporting the congress party in the state and hope that the congress party will honour its commitment if voted to power in the state after the assembly elections.
